Free augmented reality experience for Christmas 2020

So many children will miss out on visiting Santa this year due to COVID-19 restrictions. But, digital app company, Red Frog Digital, have created a free experience that enables families to bring a virtual Santa into their own home – without even needing to download an app!

The North West-based AR/VR company has created an augmented reality experience that means users can place an interactive, virtual Santa in their own environment using cutting-edge technology.

David Loveridge, CEO of Red Frog Digital, said: “This year with has been so difficult for so many people, not least children. Many haven’t been able to see friends, grandparents and extended family and, of course, social distancing means it isn’t impossible to visit Santa for this year’s festivities. Red Frog Digital wanted to do something about that.”

Users of the Santa Experience are also able to make an optional donation to Red Frog Digital’s chosen charity, Action For Children – which aims to help thousands of children and young people facing Christmas without a hot meal, a present or a safe place to sleep.
