brighton car boot sale Scumland Central. You wouldn't believe some of the
stuff that was being knocked out. One bloke, for instance, was selling
toilet paper at 15p a roll. You could see he'd unravelled each one, halved
the quantity of paper, then re-rolled the remainder back onto the cardboard
tubes.
"It's even better than that," said Tony when I mentioned it, "He gets the bog paper free. He nicks the rolls from public toilets. I know him. His whole house and garage are full of knockoff fuckin' bog rolls." The best stuff there was on Tony's stall: and most of it belonged to me. I got £230 for my mountain bike, 17 quid for my collection of Rotring pens, and 32 quid for my Playstation (with two controllers). My telly, amp, bass and Chemical Brothers CD remained unsold. Still: a grand total of 279 quid. Put that in your pipe and smoke it, Cash Converters. (And, talking of pipes, I'm going to smoke the last few atoms of Tim-tom's 'grass' tonight as a celebration. Next week I buy my weapon).
