this is what i'm worth

Right I'm getting a F4U Corsair. Thanks if you voted yesterday. It's £139.99 so I've been going through my flat searching for things to sell: no easy task, since most of the things I could sell I've already sold.

I found a few things though. I put a cash value to each item in my head, and then pottered off to the local Cash Converters to see how they tallied...

What I Would Say It's Worth What Cash Converters Reckon
Chemical Brothers: In Dust We Trust CD £10.99 £1.00
Rotring Pens, from 0.1 up to 1.2. Boxed £18.00 £2.00
My Playstation with Two Controllers £30.00 £7.00
My Philips 14 inch colour TV £20.00 £1.00
Carlsboro 150 watt bass amplifier £160.00 £20.00
Kirk Revolution: Magnesium Alloy Frame £420.00 £40.00
Fender Precision Bass. (American, 1974) £500.00 £45.00
Amstrad 386SX 20 mhz computer £20.00 worthless
TOTAL £1158.99 £116.00

4.32 pm: I bumped into Tony (Tricky). He told me he's doing a car boot sale the day after tomorrow behind Brighton station. He's got plenty of spare room in his Transit van and told me I was welcome to come along. Top man.
