I bumped into Geordie while shopping in Lidl* earlier and told him about Brendan and the Japanese girls getting swept out to sea in Samos. He, in turn, told me about how he won 14,000 quid on a scratchcard last week, while I was away.

"Wah still cannat fook'n believe it, man," he said, adding that he'd already spent a small chunk of his win on 'home improvements'. (I'm going round tomorrow for a squiz).

*Lidl is a supermarket chain especially geared up for scum. Their branches are like jobcentres that sell food: incredibly cheap food.
