Hey with at least 1000 very stoned people wondering around the capital at any one time, the Amsterdam snack culture is understandably alive and kicking.

It's not quite a 24 hour city (most places shut up around 3-4am) but there's always something sweet, wet, fried, or crunchy within reach.

Knick-named "Bagels & Birds" this is a great place to admire the quality of the Dutch genepool at lunchtimes. Bagels are fresh and tasty with some unusual combinations with an assortment of real fruit juices. Can get really busy at lunchtimes.
