I don't use this stuff so much now because I haven't got  room in my desk, but if I did I surely would. The Quadraverb has no display so you have to use your memory and your ear to work it. Compression is practically essential for drums and basses and good for experimentation. If I used vocals I'd use them between the mic and the computer. I use plugins to do this sort of thing at the moment.
