Two letters arrived for Dave Bahan
(i.e. me) today, one amusing, one amazing. The amusing one: a court summons for railway fare evasion, dating back to when I (pretending to be Dave) got done at Haywards Heath station on the way back from my holiday in Samos.
Five thousand pounds. (It's not a lot in the grand scheme of things, I know, but it's a fortune to a dole-ite). How best to unlock that money? quiz

The
amazing one: a shiny Lloyds/TSB credit card. It's got Dave Bahan's name
on it, doesn't expire for three years, and allows a credit limit of five
thousand pounds.I can't believe they've actually sent me one. And the
fact it came today of all days is nothing short of a miracle.
