an idea

Party at Suzie's. Angela was there, in a mega huggy mode - I think she'd done some Ecstasy. She was hanging off me when Tim-Tom walked in. As soon as she saw him Angela detatched herself, but it was too late: he'd already seen. Angela gathered her bag and jacket together and followed Tim-Tom out the door, into the night outside.

Most of the rest of the evening was, for me, taken up with an extreme sense of unease. Firstly that Tim-Tom might return and do something to me, and, secondly, that wherever he'd gone he had Angela with him - and he might be doing something to her. I drank quite a bit, smoked a hell of a lot of weed, and had a few lines of Geordie's coke, but the effect I got from the mixture wasn't particularly pleasant: there were minor echoes of the drug Tim-Tom had given me, the drug I took two days ago. It must still be in my system, I decided.

I eventually retired to the bean-bag room at the back, where I sprawled with Brendan and Tony (who looks like Tricky). We smoked more weed and talked bollocks for a while, including a brief dialogue on the Palestinians and the Israelis...

Tony: I'm totally for the Palestinians.
Brendan: Good bloody job mate. Bloody good job.
Tony: It's lo-tech versus hi-tech.
Me: Yeah. And you don't get much more lo-tech than stones.
Brendan: They've got the odd bloody sniper though, mate.
Tony: And they've got suicide bombers. Have they got any planes?
Me: I don't know. You never hear about them if they do.
Brendan: They've only got about a thousand bloody quid in their budget.
Tony: They should buy a squadron of radio condrolled planes. They could fill 'em with explosives.
Me: Hey, and put little video cameras in the cockpits.
Brendan: Bloody good, mate. They could pick up the planes second hand. They could get bloody twenty of them, maybe even thirty.
Tony: A fuckin' squadron! They could do a bombing run, then sell the video foodage.
Brendan: Good job. Sell it to CNN.
Tony: Thad'd be a todally cool job... like actually 'flying' one of them from a compuder monidor...

And on it went. But as far as I was concerned at that moment the Palestinians and the Israelis could both go and fuck themslves... the conversation had given me the idea of how to deal with Tim-tom.
