I've been over at Geordie's again today, helping him and a few of his mates finish off the 'house'. We'd all stopped for a crisps and cider snack when a gaggle of elderly local residents turned up. It was like Dad's Army meets Auf Wiedersehn Pet. Their spokesperson introduced himself as Mr Bigley...

Mr Bigley: I thought you might like to know, sir, that the council has been informed of your construction work, and that an inspector will be visiting you in due course.
Geordie: Wah divvunt care, man.
Mr Bigley: You may not care, sir, but I assure that the council will.
Geordie: Ya divv'n understand pet, wah divvunt give a shit!
Mr Bigley: We'll see about that, we'll see about that.

Then they then marched back to their homes, probably to watch Watercolour Challenge with Hannah Gordon.
