the last entry Tim-tom's still alive, Nicholas Van Hoodenstraagen's dead, Enya's hopefully too disturbed to ever produce another album, and it's signing on day for me. I'll do a debrief when I get back from the jobcentre.
DEBRIEFING No hassle signing on. They didn't even ask for my jobsearch form. I think they've finally got a note on their computer system saying there's no point. The walk back home along the promenade was nice, too. The sun was blazing down and there was a warm breeze from inland, carrying a smell of rosemary down from the fields above the cliffs. I bumped into Angela at about this point, who told me that Tim-tom was still in police custody; that they'd made some kind of connection between him and Nicholas Van Hoodenstraagen. She didn't know what exactly. I arranged to meet her on the beach this evening. She said she'd bring some wine and candles. Halfway home I popped over the road and bought
three scratchcards in a newsagents. And the really brilliant thing is
that I don't care if any of them are winners or not.
